Every December, the world pauses to remember a moment that changed history forever — the birth of Jesus Christ, the promised Savior and the Prince of Peace. This year, we are stepping into the heart of the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, to declare this Good News through Christmas carols, worship, and public gospel outreach.
As the lights glow across the coastline and people gather from every corner of the world, we want to lift up the name of Jesus — the Light of the World.
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…” — Isaiah 9:6
“The true Light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” — John 1:9
From Brisbane to the Gold Coast — A Journey of Proclaiming Jesus
Earlier this year, on Easter Resurrection Sunday, God gave us an incredible opportunity to lift the name of Jesus in the heart of Brisbane CBD.
At King George Square Station, we held a powerful Resurrection Parade/Rally, where thousands of people witnessed the celebration of the risen Christ.
The atmosphere was filled with worship, prayer, bold faith, and the message of salvation.
We saw people stop, watch, listen, and encounter the Gospel. It reminded us of the Great Commission — the assignment Jesus gave the Church:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19
Now, God is leading us again — this time to the Gold Coast.
Now It’s Time for Surfers Paradise — A Christmas Celebration of Jesus
As we approach Christmas, we feel a holy excitement.
Surfers Paradise is known for lights, music, beaches, nightlife, and diversity. But on this day, the sound of worship will rise in the heart of the city.
We are coming together to:

✔️ Share the Gospel with love and boldness
✔️ Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ
✔️ Pray for people, families, and the city
✔️ Shine the light of Christ in a crowded, busy place
Just as we celebrated the resurrection in Brisbane, now we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace in Surfers Paradise.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” — Luke 2:14
“A Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11
Why We Do This
Because Jesus is worth it.
Because the world needs hope.
Because thousands of people walk through Surfers Paradise every day — many hurting, lonely, broken, or searching.
Christmas is not just a holiday.
It is a divine declaration that God stepped into our world, offering salvation and eternal life.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” — John 3:16
And Jesus left us a mission:
“Go… make disciples… baptizing them… teaching them…” — Matthew 28:19–20
