Your level of Submission Defines the Level of Peace in You

We believers understand faith and surrender to God, placing Him above money, power, and worldly desires. Yet, many struggle with the reality of death—especially when loved ones die without knowing Christ.
Death remains a mystery and a deep sorrow. We never fully overcome it but learn to live with the loss. However, is our struggle with death due to our limited understanding of God’s perspective? Is our view shaped by cultural emotions rather than biblical truth?
God’s Perspective on Death
Many come to Christ through healing—physical, emotional, or miraculous. These moments can ignite faith, but our foundation must be Christ’s words. Faith should remain firm whether we witness miracles or not because, ultimately, God’s love and sacrifice are our greatest hope.
“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” — John 20:29
Have we prepared to worship God beyond blessings—even in death? Or is our faith only for this life, like a marriage vow that says, “Until death do us part”?
We often pray for success, strength, and well-being, wanting to see results now. But what if life doesn’t go as planned? What if death takes someone before they know Christ?
One thing is certain: God Judges Fairly.
“God will repay each person according to what they have done.” — Romans 2:6-7

Faith Beyond Life’s Limits
Abraham
God promised Abraham he would be the father of nations, yet he died without seeing it fulfilled. He lived by faith, knowing God’s promise would come to pass.
“All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance.” — Hebrews 11:13
Moses
Moses led Israel to the Promised Land but never entered it. He died seeing it from a distance, yet his faith in God’s plan remained unshaken.
God’s Promises Are Eternal
God’s plans often extend beyond our lifetime. We may not see every promise fulfilled, but God remains faithful.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.” — Isaiah 55:8-9
Human understanding is limited. We measure success by what we see, but God’s promises are eternal.
“To live is Christ, to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21
Submission Brings True Peace
Peace comes through full submission to God’s will, even when it contradicts our desires. Jesus showed this in Gethsemane:
“Not my will, but yours be done.” — Luke 22:42
Jesus embraced the Father’s plan, even at the cost of suffering and death, bringing eternal life to us.
If we align with God’s eternal perspective, we will find peace, trusting His promises even beyond this life.
Preparing for Eternity
Shift focus from temporary blessings to eternal promises. Ask yourself:
• Do I worship God only for what I see now?
• Can I trust Him even when I don’t understand?
• How can I find peace in His eternal promises?

Trusting God Beyond Death
Our peace depends on our level of submission to God.
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7
Even in death, God’s promises remain.
We trust His mercy is greater than we comprehend. Our role is to stay faithful, surrender to His will, and believe His plan extends beyond what we can see.
